About
When you think of the traditional banana and clove notes in German Hefeweizen, you’re thinking of this classic yeast from Bavaria. This strain strikes a fine balance of those characteristics, with underpitching and higher temperatures able to drive the banana character up. Low flocculation ensures a properly hazy heff. STA1 Negative.
Please consult our pitch rate calculator for determining the ideal pitch size for your gravity and volume.
Substitute for WLP300, WY3068, OYL-021, G01.
Attenuation: 72-76%
Flocculation: Low
